About Therapy

1652886169Simply EXISTING is hard in the modern world.

Emotional upheaval, dissatisfaction, and disappointment…

Work, family, and social life…

Health, aging, and finances…

Dealing with these challenges against the backdrop of global events can leave you feeling burdened, overwhelmed, and stifled.

It can feel impossible to keep up – let alone get ahead.

How could anyone NOT need a little therapy?

I’m here to help you dismantle those stress structures. Fear, anxiety, and depression can all be undone!

We’ll work together to redefine your emotional foundation and create a blueprint for a productive, healthy, satisfying life.

My experience includes extensive family work, so we’ll talk a lot about your family and your role in it. Our family role (whether as a child or an adult) contributes heavily to how we understand the world – for better and for worse.

Let’s examine the role you’re playing in all areas of life where you’re seeking improvement.

During the first few months of working together, you’ll learn to identify patterns in your behaviors, thoughts, and emotions – and why they developed in the first place.

In time, you’ll recognize those patterns as they play out in real-time.

Therapy gives you the tools and skills to manage those reactions and make life decisions from a place of strength and resilience.

Along the way, we’ll nourish those areas that have been hurting, revealing the best version of YOU!

Making the most of your online therapy experience…

Grab your computer or phone, find a quiet, private, comfortable place, and join me on Zoom.

This is a safe space. I work to make you feel at ease, so we can explore hidden territory together.

I’ll be patient and supportive as I challenge you to harness your inner strength and push yourself.

The possibilities are endless!

Many of my clients stay with me for years because the opportunities for self-exploration increase as you grow and develop.

The more you do, the more you’ll realize you can do. One of the beautiful things about the nature of growth is you are rewarded for your efforts, not your ability.

The more effort you put into yourself, the more you grow… and there’s no limit to what you can achieve!

Freedom, enthusiasm, and equanimity…

That’s where we’re headed!

Imagine discovering inside you the answers and solutions you’ve struggled to find.

Imagine being able to soothe and take care of yourself in any given situation.

Imagine regaining your strength, confidence, and emotional well-being.

It’s all waiting for you… and I’m here to be your guide.

About Me

AdminMy road to becoming a therapist…

I grew up in a medium-sized town with a small centralized downtown area, a closed steel mill, and a depressed economy. My mother was a family doctor and cared for a large portion of the population.

Mental health issues were prominent in my hometown for a variety of reasons. My exposure to those issues, my mother’s loving approach to healthcare, and other caring individuals in my community paved my career path.

My mission is to help as many people as possible.

Helping people feels good. I believe that’s a fundamental principle of being a human.

I knew at 11 years old that I wanted to be a therapist. I’m fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to complete the education and training to get there.

Helping you live a life with more fulfillment, joy, and satisfaction is a dream come true.

One of the best parts of being a therapist is seeing you realize how much you’ve grown.

Some of my education and training…

I received a bachelor’s degree in English education from Florida Atlantic University and a master’s in trauma-informed clinical social work from Barry University in Miami. I’m a licensed psychotherapist in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Colorado and have been in private practice since 2022.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with various individuals from all socioeconomic level s– from extreme wealth to extreme poverty. I’ve worked with people experiencing the most extreme psychiatric diagnoses and distress and “regular folks” who are strongly motivated to improve their quality of life.

I’m a big pet person!

I have two dogs: Bernie and Wilson.

They used to enjoy being in the therapy office with me, but they don’t get as much attention over Zoom.

We hope to adopt another cat since our cat friend passed away from (extreme) old age last year. She only had one tooth, but she still caught a mouse every now and then.
